CREDITS
Travelling from source to seas, Simon Reeve explores the cultures and traditions of the people who live along the banks of the world’s most sacred rivers: the Nile, the Ganges and the Yangtze.
These rivers have been decisive in the development of civilizations and still play a vital role in daily life, providing water for irrigation, a vital food source and even energy. But in the 21stcentury all of them are suffering from the effects of the rapidly growing economies of the countries they flow through – Ethiopia, India and China, pollution – in the form of pollution.
